What we’re about
Liberty Lex is a book club whose members and attendees believe fascism and authoritarianism are menacing threats to our communities, Commonwealth, and nation. Our readings, studies, and discussions are among the actions we take to equip ourselves to act as effective agents against the same scourges. We pledge to give our best to these efforts, both individually and collectively. As we are based in Lexington, most of our members will likely be residents of Lexington-Fayette County.
Our meetings will be held not less frequently than once per month. The first meeting will be on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m., in a small meeting room at the Tates Creek Branch of the Lexington Public Library.
