Our downtown Go meetings are at Chaotic Good on South Broadway. Chaotic Good has tables for games, coffee and other drinks.

Chaotic Good meetings are on TUESDAYs (generally the 2nd Tuesday of the month).

Go is a Japanese board game that can be played in a short amount of time or much longer. With a small typically a '9x9' size board 15 to 45 minutes depending on style of play and experience. We typically teach on a 5x5 board that makes for easier learning and is -very- short games or demos . Conversely on a large 19x19 size board a Go game can last longer (1 hour or more).

The group is scheduled for 6:00pm. Starting at 6:00pm, we will begin play for players to self match up. We will concurrently at 6pm teach new players. Some food & drink is available from Chaotic Good.

For those new to the game, an introduction will be about 15-20 minutes those who need it. New players will learn on 5x5 or 9x9 board.

The timing is pretty flexible for play, but if you want to learn please show btw 6:00pm and 6:05pm (for best availability to learn, we will often be able to teach whenever you show up - but we also might be deep in a game already!).

Parking for Chaotic Good is at the end of the complex near j2C Asian Bistro (use j2c for Nav and you will get right to the parking). There is some limited street parking as well, behind the building on Spring Street.
