The Millennium Trail is Bernheim’s longest trail and is recommended for experienced hikers only. It winds through ridges of oak-hickory forests to valleys and streams of beech-maple forests. This difficult trail features several steep slopes, creek and road crossings, and rough terrain. We will NOT be doing the entire trail, but a modified set of it.
Millennium mile 1-4, to Wilson's Creek Fire Road, to Paul's Point Circle (fire tower loop) and back. ~8 miles in total.
Regular meeting spot- Richmond Road Kroger (back by the gas station).
Meet at 7:30, take off at 8:00. 1.5 hours to get there, so for those of you wanting to drive separate- please be at the trailhead at 9:30. Please register at the Visitor Center or the trail head upon beginning the Millennium Trail.
