### Class Description & What You’ll Learn

In this hands-on sanding workshop, you’ll learn how to turn ordinary wood into a glass-finish surface using only sanding techniques and the right finishing materials. We'll cover:

• Proper sanding techniques (grit progression, pressure control, avoiding swirl marks)
• Which types of electric sanders to use (random orbit, detail, finishing)
• How to choose and apply finishes and oils (e.g. wipe-on poly, hard wax oils, grain fillers)
• Polishing and buffing methods to bring out that mirror-like sheen

Whether you’re a beginner or already doing woodworking projects, this class gives you the tools to finish wood beautifully.
