One day you're on top of the world. The next, life pulls the rug out from under you. Promotion, illness, praise, betrayal, luck, loss. Sound familiar?
So what are we supposed to hold onto when everything outside us keeps changing?

For this meetup, we’re diving into Boethius’ Consolation of Philosophy, a work written from the edge of annihilation that still speaks directly to modern life. Boethius asks some hard questions: Is happiness possible in an unstable world? Is fate in charge, or do we still have freedom? Can wisdom steady us when Fortune turns?
We’ll explore whether the good life is built on external success, inner character, divine order, or something else entirely.

As always, no prior expertise required. If you’re curious and willing to think out loud, you’re in the right place.
Join us as we return to the Bingham Davis House for another afternoon of lively conversation, good company, and maybe even getting some of that sweet consolation, whatever that is.

When: March 21st, 3:00 PM
Where: Bingham Davis House
Expect free parking, thoughtful discussion, and snacks worthy of Fortuna’s favor.

See you there!
Erik
