Resumption of Activities for the African Charter under LF Decentralized Trust

Details
The African Charter, initially established under the Hyperledger Foundation and now part of the Linux Foundation Decentralized Trust , is set to resume its activities after a hiatus since the COVID-19 pandemic. The charter aims to rekindle its mission to advance decentralized technologies, including blockchain, digital identity, and interoperability solutions, across African markets.
Our immediate focus is to re-engage with existing members to strengthen collaboration and onboard new members to expand the community. By fostering open-source innovation, the African Charter seeks to drive secure, transparent, and efficient digital systems tailored to the continent’s unique needs, supporting enterprises, governments, and communities in building resilient digital infrastructure.
Any LFDT community members in Africa who are interested in collaborating with other people on activities in the region are welcome to join this discussion.
