What we’re about
LFDT Meetup groups have an informal relationship with LF Decentralized Trust and make up a key part of the LFDT ecosystem. Participation in a LFDT Meetup group is open to anyone--employees of a LFDT member company, LFDT contributors and developers, and people just passionate about distributed trust technology.

How FLEXBLOK.io And Besu Are Making Enterprise Blockchain A Reality
Online233 attendees from 140 groupsFLEXBLOK.io is a Blockchain-as-a-Service (BaaS) platform built on Besu, an open source Ethereum client written in Java, designed to remove the primary barriers to enterprise blockchain adoption. Through intuitive APIs and a cloud-native architecture, it empowers development teams to integrate blockchain capabilities without the overhead of managing smart contract infrastructure. The platform delivers zero-friction adoption, rapid deployment, and enterprise-grade scalability, ensuring seamless integration with existing Web 2.0 systems.
A live demonstration will showcase a real-world biotech application, providing a practical look at how FLEXBLOK.io delivers end-to-end traceability and immutable audit trails for sensitive genetic samples. Attendees will see how this technology drives trust and compliance, allowing enterprises to focus on innovation and business outcomes instead of technical complexity.
The session will conclude with key insights and lessons learned from our real-world projects.

Learning Tokens. Connections with Online Learning Platforms. First SDK.
Online270 attendees from 141 groupsLearning Tokens is a LFDT Lab that is building an open-source mechanism that uses the composable Interwork Alliance Token Taxonomy Framework (IWA TTF) to produce a Learning Token as a positive reinforcer that recognizes, registers, and certifies skills acquisition and competencies while rewarding community engagement in collective learning.
This presentation will feature speakers from the LFDT Mentorship 2025, covering information about the release of the first SDK. This is a follow up to a meetup in July 14 about the online learning platforms landscape. You can see a recording of that meetup at:
