Welcome to the official Hyperledger meetup in Amsterdam! Brian Behlendorf is in town and we will have a great chance to talk to him and see what's new to Hyperledger. We'll discuss Hyperledger updates, multi-host deployment of Hyperledger Fabric, practical applications of Hyperledger technologies — join us and ask your questions!

TALK #3: 5-Step Deployment of Hyperledger Fabric on Multiple Nodes in 1 Hour, with Vitaliy Chernov, VP Blockchain Practice at Altoros

Most Hyperledger Fabric tutorials and workshops cover single host deployment only. Vitaliy will go through the process of multi-host deployment:

• Deployment of a network with 3 Organizations as a starting consortium
• Customizing and extending the network

***Target audience: the presentation is mostly technical. However, business-side audience will benefit as well: you will see how easy it is to deploy a network and start experimenting with your own corporate blockchain.
Prerequisites for attendees: it’s not a hands-on presentation, laptop is not needed

SPEAKERS

BRIAN BEHLENDORF (https://www.linkedin.com/in/brianbehlendorf/), Executive Director to the Hyperledger Project

Brian Behlendorf was a primary developer of the Apache Web server, the most popular web server software on the Internet, and a founding member of the Apache Software Foundation. He has also served on the board of the Mozilla Foundation and the Electronic Frontier Foundation. He was the founding CTO of CollabNet and CTO of the World Economic Forum. Most recently, Brian was a managing director at Mithril Capital Management LLC, a global technology investment firm.

ARNAUD LE HORS (https://www.linkedin.com/in/lehors/), Senior Technical Staff Member, Web & Blockchain Open Technologies at IBM; Member of the Hyperledger Technical Steering Committee (TSC)

Arnaud has been working on open technologies for over 20 years, involving standards and open source development, both as a staff member of standards development organizations (SDO) such as W3C and as a representative for IBM. Arnaud is involved in every aspect of the standards development process: the technical, strategic, political, and legal aspects. He has been involved in open source projects, such as Xerces, the Apache XML parser. Now focusing on the Hyperledger Project.

VITALIY CHERNOV (https://www.linkedin.com/in/vitaliy-chernov-45289a14/), Blockchain Trainer, VP of Blockchain Practice at Altoros

Vitaliy has engineering background in Electronics and holds MBA degree majoring in Finance from Manchester Business School. His career started in banking: trading in capital markets helped him accumulate knowledge of financial instruments and trading systems. Vitaliy worked as a Finance director focusing on FinTech solutions in various industries: telecommunications, retail, real estate. Vitaliy now contributes as a blockchain trainer focusing on business solutions.
