About us
LFDT Meetup groups have an informal relationship with LF Decentralized Trust and make up a key part of the LFDT ecosystem. Participation in a LFDT Meetup group is open to anyone--employees of a LFDT member company, LFDT contributors and developers, and people just passionate about distributed trust technology.

What PDPP Unlocks: 4 Builders on What They Built, Why It Was Hard, What's Next
·OnlineOnline190 attendees from 149 groupsWhat PDPP unlocks: four builders on what they built, why it was hard, and what changes now
PDPP v1 locks on 26 October. Four teams that have already built on it, from government, industry and frontier startups, each take fifteen minutes: what they built, why it was so hard before a standard existed, and what having one changes for the next person. Then open floor on what you would build. For engineers, product people, policy people and anyone who wants to know what personal data portability is for.

Measuring Ledgers With The Blockchain Decentralisation Index Lab
·OnlineOnline60 attendees from 150 groupsThe new Blockchain Decentralisation Index Lab is an open source tool kit for measuring the decentralisation of distributed ledgers, layer by layer — consensus, tokenomics, network, software, and beyond.
The lab develops and maintains a suite of open source tools that collect data from live blockchain systems, parse it into a common format, and compute decentralisation metrics over it. Each tool targets a distinct layer of the stack and shares a common pipeline architecture (collect → parse → map to entities → apply metrics → publish).
Learn more about the Lab, how to use it and how to get involved in this online event. You can also find out more about the Lab at: https://github.com/Blockchain-Decentralisation-Index
