Schumann’s Cello Concerto is considered one of the great cello works of the Romantic era. Its lyrical but demanding music will be no problem for the Austrian-Iranian soloist Kian Soltani, known for the joy he brings to every performance and his ability to create an immediate rapport with his audience. Brahms’ magnificent First Symphony showcases the poetry and power a full Romantic-era orchestra can conjure, while the overture to Dvořák's opera Vanda (the story of a heroic Polish queen) is a suitably dramatic scene-setter.

I'll post in the comments exactly where I'm sitting and what I'm wearing, for those who don't know me. The concert will last 2 hours. Afterwards we'll meet at on level 2 near the bottom of the 'green' staircase (the right side if your back's to the river), and we'll go for a drink nearby.
