Hello & welcome to LGBTQ Culture Lovers - London!

We hope you enjoy the events on offer and the company of the people you'll meet. The aim of this group is simple: for LGBTQ+ people to meet and socialise in the context of cultural events. A few things to note:-

ATTENDANCE ETIQUETTE
When RSVP-ing, please make sure you follow any instructions in the description (such as the purchasing of tickets). At any point, if you can no longer make it to an event, please change your RSVP on the event page to 'not attending', so our organisers know they won't have to look out for you.
Members are responsible for sorting their own refunds/exchanges with regards to any tickets purchased if they can no longer attend.

THIS GROUP RUNS A STRICT 'NO SHOW' POLICY, any members who have RSVP'd as attending, but then not doing so will, after the 3rd occurrence, be removed and banned from the group.

MEETUP APP
We very strongly recommend you download the Meetup app to your phone. Many of the events pages will have live updates in the 'comments' section on the day itself, so with the app you can easily access the page & these updates on the move. You can also DM the organisers via this app, useful if (for example) you are having issues finding the whereabouts of the group or are running late.
And please do read my piece about app pop-ups in the discussion section of the group to avoid accidentally signing up for the paid for meetup+ service.

INACTIVE MEMBERSHIP
To encourage 'active' membership, we periodically delete members who've not visited the group page in over a year, but you can always rejoin! There is never an obligation to attend events.

FINALLY
No events take your fancy? We always welcome feedback, but also do feel free to enquire about becoming a host so you can create events you'd like to attend.
