( Bring money with you if you want to grab a bite to eat after Rafting). Take snacks with you because we will not eat until after rafting. Eat a good breakfast before going to Discovery Center or take breakfast with you to eat at Discovery Center or eat on the bus.

EXPERIENCE THE THRILL OF WHITE WATER RAFTING as you and your friends raft Indiana's only whitewater river. After a short ride from Chicago you join our rafting guides. Laugh, shout and have the time of your life as you repeat your thrill ride over and over again. Through the years over 200,000 rafters have experienced the excitement on this special 1/2 mile section of the river. This Waterway draws Olympic winners and National Champions. It is an excellent introduction to whitewater rafting. Whether you come alone or in a group, you can expect to have a great time! These trips sold out last year so register early.

THIS AMAZING LOW PRICE INCLUDES: Roundtrip bus transportation 2 & 1/2 hours of whitewater rafting with exclusive access to the best portion of the river, during the first hour the park is reserved for Discovery Center only! Group leader, orientation and rafting instruction. Rafts, paddles, life jackets and helmets. Rafts for 2 to 5 people (you can raft with only your group of friends or we will pair you). Bring towel, & dry change of clothes including shoes with ankle straps (NO FLIP FLOPS because those shoes will fall off your feet, you need shoes with straps that will not fall off your feet because once we get there they will not allow you to get into a raft and there are no stores to buy shoes so bring extra shoes, extra socks), also bring sun block, bug spray, and a bag to put your wet clothes and your wet shoes into, take a jacket just in case you get cold. Take money with you to buy food after rafting and if you want to give your bus driver tip gratuity money all optional up to you. Plan to arrive early Sunday (7:00AM OR EARLIER) for orientation, coffee and donuts. Sunday trips return approximately 6pm OR 6:30pm all depending on return traffic home. Trip departs by bus from Discovery Center 4318 N Elston Ave. We are going to the St Joseph river (approximately 100 miles east of Chicago). If you wish to drive notify us upon registration but I believe cost is the same. Directions provided upon registration. Group rates available for groups of 6 or more.

1003 RAFTING WISCONSIN’S WILD RIVER

Experience rafting on one of the finest rivers in the Midwest, the Wolf River! We have scheduled an action packed weekend getaway this season. The Wolf River is nestled deep in the wilderness of the Nicolet National Forest, amidst the splendor of the rugged tamarack & the hardwood forest of the Northern Wisconsin. The water runs fast on the Wolf River speeding over rocky ledges creating boiling white water. You will be rafting through the best section of the Wolf River, which includes the scenic regions of the Menominee Indian Reservation. This stretch of river features several sets of rapids & water falls including the Big Smokey Falls a 40 foot progression water fall. You will get WET!!

If river conditions are better on the Menominee River this excellent class 4 river will be our alternate.We raft a portion of the beautiful Menominee River along the border of Wisconsin and Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Your ride begins with smooth rafting, but quickly changes to a section between spectacular 200ft cliffs. Then experience the Menominee's dramatic Piers Gorge and its Class 4 rapids.You will get WET!!

WEEKEND INCLUDES: ( BRING YOUR OWN TENT, SLEEPING BAG, WHATEVER YOU WANT TO BRING TO CAMP ONE NIGHT LIKE SNACKS, BLANKET, JACKET, BUG SPRAY, SUN SCREEN, ETC. )Use of camp ground facilities, swimming, hiking, & more.  Overnight at campground  Roundtrip Transportation from Discovery Center, Meals: coffee & donuts before we leave Saturday, dinner Saturday night & breakfast Sunday morning. (Lunches not included in package prices. You may bring your own or purchase along the road).  Rafts, paddles, life jackets, helmets  Rafting instruction & an experienced guide  All the fun you can have on a wilderness trip Overnight accommodations at campground. You will need tent, sleeping bag and toiletries. The campsite has showers, toilet facilities, a bar and lots of open space. Saturday afternoon fun includes hiking, swimming at a nearby lake or a group volleyball game. Horseback riding will also be made available for an additional fee. Saturday night enjoy a roaring campfire, drink liquid refreshments, roast marshmallows and hotdogs, and enjoy great camaraderie with your fellow campers.
