Kenwood is one of Chicago's most treasured South Side neighborhoods — famous for its tree-lined streets 🌳, magnificent architecture 🏛️, and deep ties to some of the most influential figures in American history 📜.

The neighborhood flourished in the late 19th century as one of Chicago's most fashionable addresses, attracting industrialists, philanthropists, and civic leaders who built the grand mansions that still line its streets today.

Over the decades Kenwood became home to towering figures in Civil Rights, culture, religion, and politics — from Elijah Muhammad and Muhammad Ali to Julius Rosenwald and Barack Obama. Its architectural legacy includes some of Frank Lloyd Wright's earliest and most important commissions. Come see it all for yourself! 🌟
