We will meet in front of Flying Tiger Entrance, Franz-Josefs-Kai 21, 1010 Wien, at ⏰ 5:00 PM. This allows us plenty of time to assemble and receive one of the few seats on the boat (our very first location on the tour).

We speak English and German in our group. However, please be aware that guided tours might only be available in German, but we're committed to inclusivity and will do our utmost to provide translations when necessary.

Part I – Street Art & Science Fiction – 18:00 - 21:00

Street Art Boat Tour (starting: 18:00 CEST)
Set sail on a unique journey admiring the graffiti-adorned shores of the inner city from the Hundertwasser ship MS Vindobona.

Weltmuseum – Guided Tour through the Exhibition Science Fiction(s) (19:45 CEST)
Join us for a guided tour through the special exhibitions Science Fiction(s) and Fruits of Labour. as well as the permanent showcase. Science Fiction(s) features around 20 contemporary artists using sci-fi as a tool for critiquing today's world and envisioning alternative futures. Curated by the futuristic film architects KAWA, this immersive exhibit invites visitors to explore diverse worlds through various art forms, encouraging a collaborative vision for a more inclusive future.

Part II – Queer and Sweet: 21:00 - midnight

Queer Concert at Museum Simmering (starting 21:00)
A fabulous performance by drag queen Chi Chi Gonzalez and the Vienna Royal Orchestra awaits, amidst a sea of art and history at Museum Simmering.

Condomi Museum (approx. at 22:30)
Discover the fascinating history of condoms, from their earliest incarnations to modern alternatives, housed in the vaulted cellar of the Liebenswert shop.

Schoko Michi Chocolate Factory (approx. at 23:15)
Transform your museum night ticket into a sweet adventure as you tour a historical chocolate factory, guided by a chocolatier from a long line of family tradition.

Metro Cinema Cultural House (approx. at midnight)
Enjoy a series of short films showcasing Austria's rich film history, coupled with a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the archival process in the beautiful Metro Cinema Cultural House. On this final step, we will take a drink in the glamorous entrance hall to finish the night.

🎟️ Ticket Info
Your € 15 ticket grants you entry to all the above attractions and includes public transport fees. So this is a very affordable way to enjoy various attractions.

Reduced fee of € 12 is available for students, Γ–1 membership holders and pensioners.

You can buy the ticket on these ways:

  • Online until 1st October 2023 at https://www.langenacht.ort.at
  • In advance or on the day in any participating museum and location (for example at the Schiffstation Wien, our first point where the boat tour starts)

I strongly suggest getting your tickets in advance to skip queues effectively on the day of event. As I'm only a meetup organizer, I don't sell any tickets, so please buy the tickets respectively at the suggested selling points above.
