🏞️ Let's go hiking with QueerHike: Baden bei Wien / Weinwanderweg

Dear hiking group,

our MeetUp group will join once again QueerHike (https://aufschlag.org/wandern) for a hiking tour.
Our September hike will take us to Baden bei Wien

Details:
Our popular wine walk will take place again this year! Anyone who came along two years ago (it was cancelled last year due to flooding) knows that there is not much walking involved, but rather chatting, sitting and drinking. Nevertheless, we want to reach our destination before nightfall :)
Expect a "netto hiking time" of about 3 hours. Including many breaks it will take significantly longer.
The length of the hiking tour is 11km.

We will meet a little later than usual, as the afternoon is certainly more pleasant.
The meeting point is therefore at 1 p.m. at Josefsplatz in Baden. From there, we will walk a short distance through Baden and then take the Wasserleitungsweg to Gumpoldskirchen, where we will board the train to Vienna. Alternatively, some may wish to conclude the evening in Gumpoldskirchen at a wine tavern. That is for you to decide.

We do recommend making sure to bring enough food and drink for the hike and whatever else you might need. We hope the weather will be good. But if it isn't, please take a waterproof and good hiking boots with you. And maybe hiking poles.

Please note: As this event is in co-operation with QueerHike, the number of attendees shown here does not reflect the whole size of the group. Usually we are in between 10 and 25 hikers.
