Dear hiking group,
our MeetUp group will join once again QueerHike (https://aufschlag.org/wandern) for a hiking tour.
Our October hike will take us to Puchberg am Schneeberg.
Details:
This time, we're heading high up, but at a leisurely pace – just the way we like it.
This time, Slavi has his eye on a tour that will take us up the Schneeberg. We will therefore take the "Salamander" train uphill and hike back down from there... or take the chairlift to Losenheim. From there, we plan to take the bus back to Puchberg or Wiener Neustadt.
Tickets for the Salamander:
We recommend purchasing your ticket for the Salamander train, which departs on 25 October 2025 at 11:00 from Puchberg to Baumgartner, online in advance.

We do recommend making sure to bring enough food and drink for the hike and whatever else you might need. We hope the weather will be good. But if it isn't, please take a waterproof and good hiking boots with you. And maybe hiking poles.
