Let's have a full moon hike before summer ends!
The Farmer's Almanac described this as the Harvest Moon because it gave farmers several extra evenings of moonlight to allow them to finish their harvests before the frosts of fall arrived.The Hike: Mount Hollywood via Mineral Wells, North, and Bill Eckert Loop. This hike is 4.3 miles and should take about 2 hours.
