Community Meal: Free Meal After WorshipRecovering from a life navigating purity culture? Tired of being told what the Bible says about your identity?
Beginning June 1, the Collective will embark on a five-part summer sermon series exploring the Bible and what it has to say about sex, relationships, and identity. We will reclaim passages that have been used to harm marginalized identities and give you a few talking points for the next time your crazy uncle starts an argument at family dinner.
Here are our five themes:
- June 1: What is the Bibleâs authority concerning human sexuality?
- June 15: What does the Bible say about womenâs leadership in the church?
- July 6: What does the Bible say about sex?
- July 20: What does the Bible say about sexual identity?
- August 3: What does the Bible say about gender identity?
Together, weâll uncover a gospel thatâs deeper, freer, and more inclusive than you may have been told.
As always: we'll gather for a community meal following worship!
