Let's have a queer day out at the coasters!

We aim to get there for 10am (opening)

getting there is super easy.

South Western Railway (Waterloo to Stained) takes around 32 minutes.

Staines to thorpe park takes 15 minutes via bus (950 bus)

We aim to get the train from Waterloo which at the time of writing this is 8:50am so set your alarm!

some of us will get on at Waterloo and some Clapham Junction (which is the next stop)

if you would like to go via a different route or drive then I would suggest getting to the Thorpe park gates at 9:50 and you can meet us outside.

If you want to come later this is not a problem as we have a very organised event chat system which you can join. makes it easy to catch up with us if you are running late.

We will be entering at 10am.

We can see if there are any deals nearer the time as they sometimes have 2 4 1 tickets but otherwise please familiarise yourself with the website.

1.) Ensure you pre purchase your ticket online (Thorpe Park website) Unless you want to pay an inflated price at the gate.

2.) The train leaves at Waterloo at 9:09 to arrive at Stains for 9:45. Once at Stains there is a short bus to thorpe park.

PURCHASE YOUR TICKET ONLINE FOR THE TRAIN - You cannot use oyster/contactless out to staines. You need an actual ticket. Alternatively use ticket machine BUT LEAVE ENOUGH TIME FOR THIS.

ENSURE you get the train on time! Ula and many others will be getting the train from Waterloo (I will be jumping on the train at clapham junction with Luis)

If getting the train from Clapham Junction....It arrives clapham junction at 9:19

I would advise people to arrive early for the trains as you never know if you get delayed.
Use EVENT CHAT 1 (whatsapp) to communicate when you arrive.

3.) Travelling by car - Arrive at the theme park entrance gates at 9:55-10am to reduce people running late

Late arrivals - If you miss the train and have to get the next train..we won't be waiting at the entrance for you.

You will just have to enter the park after us and find us. I will post live location in EVENT CHAT (whatsapp) however I will not be tracking people down all day. I would advise any newbies to be on time for the train.

5.) Itinerary - There is no specific plan inside. I plan to go straight to the new coaster but after that we can do whatever. People may want to split from the group and go for a coffee or go for specific rides.

Lunch - We MAY meet for a late lunch to meetup again as I'm assuming we will split up into groups throughout the day.
