Trans Day of Remembrance Vigil in Reading

Trans Day of Remembrance (TDoR) is observerved annually and internationally on 20th November to honour the lives lost to trans, non-binary and gender-non-conforming hate. It began in 1998 in response to the murder of Rita Hester.

If you’d like to attend a weekend vigil with other LGBTQ+ people, you’re very welcome to join this MeetUp event. We’ll be at The Biscuit Factory on Sunday 16th from 6:45pm, ahead of the 7:30pm start when some of us have seats B9-12 booked.

This year’s vigil in Reading is organised by TransKind by the Beaumont Society, in partnership with Newbury Pride.
