Come out for LGBTQIA-friendly social hikes, brunches, book clubs, STEM game nights, and more near Wilmington, DE. Our group is kind and welcoming to newcomers - come on out! You are welcome whether closeted, out, questioning, single, partnered (to same or different gender), monogamous, polyamorous, lesbian, bi, pan, queer, transgender, ace, or just a friend of the LGBTQ community.
We value kindness, diversity, honesty, and enthusiastic consent.
Group is led by Krystie: an ecology & STEM geek, artist, novelist, website designer, and monogamously-partnered mom of tweens.

How It Began:
This group was founded by a desire to build LGBTQIA community in the Northern Delaware area (incl nearby PA & MD). Being in LGBTQIA community helps us feel heard, helps us each navigate our journey to be who we truly are, and helps us support each other while enjoying good company!

Our Mission:
Kindness, Laughter, Inclusion, Delish Food, Nature, Exercise, Women in STEM, Enthusiastic Consent, and Adventure!
This group is a space where we can get together to laugh, tell stories, and vent in ways that uplift one another and our greater community. We are a fun place to share things you care about - like art, STEM, music, and our stories - and build each other up. We discourage all hate, stereotyping jokes, and name-calling of minorities or majorities.
We celebrate diversity in race, religion/non-religion, and LGBTQ identities including: lesbian, bisexual, biromantic, pansexual, panromantic, gay, transgender, asexual, aromantic, queer, polyamorous, monogamous, and more. We support those who are wrestling with their sexual and romantic identity - reach out to others at our events - many of us are happy to help!

Come join us monthly for a social hike! Catch up with local LGBTQIA, questioning, married to same or other gender, questioning, etc people and get some exercise outdoors!
HIKE:
- Meet by the parking lot (see pin on map)
- Specific hike details: Trail is a paved loop for the first half and then hilly with rocky uneven terrain that runs through forests and fields and follows a sparkling creek
- Leashed dogs friendly to people and other dogs are welcome
- We wait up to 10 min for everyone who confirmed their RSVP within the past 48 hours - please update your response if it changes
