Tools for debugging memory issues in C (and C++)
Details
A high percentage of critical bugs in C and C++ programs end up being memory bugs like buffer overflows or uninitialised reads. I'll discuss using tools like valgrind, address sanitizer, and compiler options to help catch them early.
