2013 Thanksgiving Basket Brigade

Please join us for our 5th annual Thanksgiving Basket Brigade for families in Need!

We will gather to organize the LI Power Team Basket Brigade 2013 Sunday, November 24 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM. Location TBD.
This basket of love and hope is for people in need. This will be our 5th opportunity to give back to the community.

For those familiar with the Basket Brigade, this is our Power Team’s Basket Brigade Holiday Giving Campaign.
We will be providing baskets of food to local families that are in need.

Although we are inspired to act by Anthony Robbins' International Basket Brigade effort, we are entirely self funded and can only serve others through the generosity of our friends and those believing in our mission.

This year our goal is to assist 40 families. To do that we are asking for your help!

Collecting donations:
Please collect your donations and bring your donations to the Meetup on November 24, 2013.

Preparing the baskets:
Sunday, November 24, 2013, 10:00AM - 12:00PM. Bagels & Coffee will be served.

Delivering:
Do you know somebody in need? Please provide us with information and we will be happy to deliver a basket or we can give you the basket to deliver.
Do you know of an organization that is in need for donations? Please let us know and we will deliver some baskets to them.

We welcome you in any capacity that you are able to serve.

Here are some basic items we are considering including in our baskets, but the possibilities are unlimited.

Turkey
Bread
Canned fruit or fresh fruit if you are bringing it to the meeting
Canned vegetables or fresh vegetables if you are bringing them to the meeting
Mashed Potatoes
Gravy
Juice
Soup
Cookies, cakes, pies

Please feel free to donate anything else, that you would like to have included in a Thanksgiving basket (hats, gloves, etc.).
