Liaison of Volunteers and Educators (LoVE: PVD)

The Liaison of Volunteers and Educators (LoVE: PVD) is a free community movement built around a very simple idea: people need to be seen in order to grow.

No membership fees. No pressure. No agenda beyond showing up and connecting with the people around you.

We organize around three clubs that run throughout the week, open to everyone regardless of age, fitness level or background.

The Sunrise Club-
If you're an early riser, this one is for you! We run morning bike rides, coffee walks, beach runs, and outdoor yoga sessions to start the day with movement, fresh air and good company. Whether you're training for something or just trying to get outside more, you're more than welcome here!

The Everyday Adventure Club-
This one keeps things interesting! The Everyday Adventure Club pulls from local event listings and member recommendations to create groups experiences (pop up markets, trail hikes, waterfront hangs, community events, and really anything the city has to offer!) If you hear about something interesting or have something you've always wanted to check out, leave a recommendation in the comments!

The Sunset Club- As the day winds down, we gather for something slower. The Sunset club is built around conversation (intellectual, spiritual, personal, whatever comes up when people are willing to sit in the same space and be honest with each other. No topic is off limits (but please be considerate of others).

As the community grows, certified volunteers will be leading structured programming within each session. Our first initiative for the community is to align with volunteers in the area to utilize their expertise to educate and support the people around them, in real time.

LoVE: PVD also coordinates volunteer opportunities across the state, helping members find ways to give back and connect with organizations doing meaningful work in Rhode Island. Whether you're looking for a one-time event or an ongoing commitment, we'll help you find it and introduce you to the people already doing it.

LoVE: PVD is a free, community-run, inclusive organization open to all.
