Libations and Lectures is where professors, filmmakers, and storytellers present thought-provoking lectures about film at various Charlotte locations (restaurants, coffee shops, bars, cooperatives, etc.) From Cinephiles to foodies, students to adults; everyone can participate. Just come thirsty and hungry for knowledge.

🎤 Featured Speaker: Jeff Howlett – Acclaimed photographer, director, and producer of the powerful documentary A Band Called Death, which unearthed the lost legacy of one of punk rock’s earliest Black bands.
🎞️ Short Film Screening: Nick Will of Mislabeled Productions shares his latest short—an evocative look at creativity, identity, and sound.
🎶 Live Music: Band performance by Low Groves to close out the night, bringing the themes of memory and music full circle.
