I don't know about the rest of you, but No Kings Day was absolutely wonderful, despite the rain. The crowd was huge and lively with lots of whimsical and humorous signs and costumes. Thanks to all who attended and cheers to all who attended the event AND went to Book Club.

From Kathleen: Hi everyone: We had a small but energetic meeting to discuss Wally Lamb's "She's Come Undone". The title expressed how some of us felt about the book but Margaret Duyree rescued us with a lively discussion of the various characters.
Many of us had attended the "No Kings" rally so that made things even more interesting.
Hope to see you all on November 15! (If the weather is not obnoxiously hot, I hope to have some hot tea to celebrate the season. Cranberry? Pumpkin?)
