Details

The Juneteenth Foodways Festival is a celebration of freedom and independence in honor of Dolly Johnson, the first Black woman to serve as a White House chef for President Benjamin Harrison. Johnson’s legacy is dedicated to sharing the remarkable story of Dolly Johnson and the lasting legacy of Black cuisine on America’s favorite food.

In addition to food, the festival features face painting, DJs and retail partners, creating a vibrant atmosphere for attendees. Attendees wearing Indiana Pacers gear may receive discounts or free items from some vendors.

General admission begins at 4:30 p.m. and goes on until 8:00 p.m. The event is free, though early access tickets are available for purchase. Early admission is available from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. for $20.
