Music and Activist Fair, Statehouse lawn
Come talk with friendly people and enjoy live music from local artists. Advocacy and service organizations will connect you with ways to support marginalized communities and resist authoritarianism. Organizations will table during the entire event, and make it easy to find ways to get involved.
12 pm
Speakers, Chants, and Calls to Action, Statehouse lawn
We gather on the south side of the Statehouse lawn. Hear powerful words of unity and justice from Indiana's movement leaders on how Hoosiers are standing up to kings, puppets, and pawns. You'll also hear about actions you can take to resist attacks on our rights, our votes, and our immigrant neighbors.
2 pm
March around the Capitol Building
Together will we peacefully march around the capitol while singing and chanting.
“NO KINGS” is more than just a slogan—it’s the foundation our nation was built upon. Born in the streets, carried by millions in chants and on posters, it echoes from city blocks to rural town squares, uniting people across this country to fight dictatorship together.
The president thinks his rule is absolute. But in America, we don’t have kings, and we won’t back down against chaos, corruption, and cruelty. Grow our movement and join us.
A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
