Tom is a trial attorney and Democratic activist in Richmond who has focused his life, practice, and policy work on public safety. 
He is a former Captain in the Marine Corps and a veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan, with undergraduate, J.D., and M.B.A. degrees from the University of Virginia, UVA’s School of Law, and UVA’s Darden School of Business. 
He lives with his wife and two daughters in Church Hill.
