Unfortunately a medical condition overtook him before he had a chance to give his presentation, He has agreed to bring his medication with him this month and give his presentation

He worked at a university in an administrative staff position as IT Support in the engineering faculty for 11 years, and is well aware of the culture of universities. University professors are disillusioned with the overreach of power from the administrative arms of universities. Faculty Associations are more individualist, not even remotely comparable to let's say, Ontario Teachers' Unions. They advocate for the rights of individual professors, who have consistently been trampled by the administrations at our universities. While many of us have attended university, we probably don't have a good understanding of how they are run.
