The Capital District LP meets on the second Tuesday of every month. Locations can very so check the Meetup site frequently. We are always seeking new members, ideas and candidates. Join us for a coffee, beer or meal to discuss your focus on liberty.

Nationally, the Libertarian Party is America's largest third-largest political party. Before the Libertarian Party gained ballot access in 2018, the Capital District LP was only sanctioned chapter of the New York Libertarian Party in the Capital Region. Since most counties in the Capital Region now have Libertarian Party organizations, we seek to provide a welcoming and casual forum to attract new members, as well as to coordinate LP activities across the counties in the region.

The LP seeks to maximize truth, minimize the threat of coercive collective action and stretch the limits of personal freedom. Resistance is not futile, but it does require a seat at the table.
