Closing Time - Our last Libertarian Freethinkers event

After 5.5 years of organizing events for Libertarian Freethinkers of KC, I (Evan) am ready to move on to other activities and interests, so I plan to stop organizing this group. Since no one else has volunteered to continue this group beyond Friday, January 18th, I plan to shut it down. If you would like to organize similar libertarian discussion events in the future and host them on Meetup, please contact Ned Kelley in the Kansas City Area Libertarians group (https://www.meetup.com/libertarian-127/) to avoid creating another group and paying more Meetup organizer dues.

In addition to our usual free-flowing discussion of almost anything that attendees would like to discuss, I would not be surprised if we reflect on the history of this group and how we benefited from our attendance and participation. I certainly learned a lot from organizing it, and I am grateful for this group and many people whom I met through this group, especially my wife, Melissa. <3
