Public Health is a field distinct from medicine and requires different approaches. The current pandemic is a public health crisis and a series of medical cases. If the private sector can do medicine, and build roads - as libertarians agree it can - then perhaps it can do public health too?

Simon Gibbs has been following developments in virology and sees a role for the private sector in providing public health during this pandemic. Put another way, he is suggesting a new social norm in which the private sector use public health tools for private and social settings, from the bottom up. Specifically, using screening tests at the door, as an alternative to remaining closed.

This is not a well-researched well-prepared academic presentation. There has been no scientific study. It is just a guy with an idea. There will be a brief explanation via Zoom and a chance to chew over the details.
