This is an informal drinks event to to discuss Libertarian theories, recent news and events in general, the state of libertarianism in the various parties and in the culture.

To get us started Brian Micklethwait will be speaking on the topic of - breath in - "Libertarianism Is Simple To Describe But Not Simple To Argue For: What That Says About How To Argue For Libertarianism Effectively". I have heard some of the ideas Brian proposes to relate and this should be a really useful session. He speaks from many years of experience finding ways to inject libertarian ideas into the culture.
