Do you ever wonder, "What would Milton Friedman, Thomas Sowell, or Friedrick Hayek do?" When you hear people talking about some "crisis" and the role of government to respond to it, do you ever think to yourself, "There are no solutions; there are only trade-offs"?
Are you OK with income inequality so long as individuals are free to choose how to trade their dollars for goods and services, or their goods and services for dollars? Are you in favor of strong property rights?
Do you believe that people have the right to say terrible things, and that you, in turn, have the right to not trade your dollars for their goods and services, and to urge others to act in kind? Does a smile come across your face when you hear, "Afuera! Afuera! Afuera!" or you see a crazy-looking Argentinian wielding a chainsaw? If so, you've come to the right place.
We'll meet in my building to discuss all things liberty, including threats to it, ways to increase it, and ways to persuade others to join our cause. Typical meetings will be potlucks in the common area of my building. So whether you're a disciple of the Austrians, the Chicago school, Ayn Rand, Milton Friedman, Thomas Sowell, or Friedrich Hayek, come join us in the cause of liberty!
