What's up Fellas. LiBros is a Mens Bookclub. Instead of assigning everyone the same book to read, just come talk about what you've read lately. The purpose is to promote reading and growth in different subjects. Any genre is welcome for discussion, from comics to classic literature, sports, and music. Men's only because sometimes, guys need to talk to other guys about heavy stuff. No offense meant for the ladies. Libros isn't therapy, but it is cheaper than therapy. Just be cool and keep it respectful, we aren't here to bash anyone's religion, race, or sexual/ gender identity.
We meet at a coffee shop, bookstore, quiet bar or anywhere with an ambiance that promotes conversation.
Fun facts, LiBros started in Phoenix a few years ago with friends and is still active there. As a founding member, I moved cities, so now hoping to start it back up with a new group.
Libros is spanish for books, but also short for Literature Bros. Pretty cool huh? I think so.
