Volunteering at Jacob Riis Neighborhood Settlement

We're looking for volunteers with meal distribution at Jacob Riis Center (the Queensbridge senior services center) every Wednesday morning. We appreciate any amount of help you can give, for any week.

This involves:

• Packing and distributing fresh groceries
• Delivering the groceries to homebound seniors in Queensbridge, if you are comfortable doing so

There may be volunteers from other organizations to help, and we'd appreciate if you can RSVP for the dates you're able to help out, so we can get an accurate headcount of volunteers from LIC Support.

You can find us in the gated area in the back of the center, near the basketball courts.
