Hartington and the Upper Dove Valley

This is a circular walk[8miles] from Hartington of the Upper Dove Valley to touch the village of Crowdecote . The locale is within the Peak District National Park , with the features of Pilsbury Castle, agriculture and Limestone excavation . Hartington is famous for cheese and in particular Stilton. We will be walking across fields crossing using stiles . Please be prepared for mud . wet weather and wearing walking boots or shoes. Carry sufficient food and drink to sustain you. You will need to carry funds for parking and refreshment during and after walk . We meet in Parson's Field Car Park pay and display , Parson's Close , Hartington.
