Join us for this beloved annual tradition where gardening meets community support! The Licking County Master Gardener Volunteers are hosting their annual Plant Sale to fund their 2025 public outreach and educational initiatives.

### 🌱 Plant Sale Highlights

• Perennials for sunny and shady garden spots
• Herbs and houseplants for indoor enjoyment
• Tomato and pepper varieties with expert planting advice
• Native plants

Update: 14 varieties of tomatoes and 11 varieties of peppers: $3.50 each
Perennials, herbs, some annuals, and lots of native plants will be for sale.

Also, Meadows for Monarchs project, in coordination with Pathways for Pollinators, will have demonstrations to teach how to prepare land to plant seeds that attract pollinators!

### 🦋 Special Feature: "Meadows for Monarchs" Demonstrations
four different site preparation methods for creating pollinator-friendly spaces. This is part of the “Meadow for Monarchs” program by Pollinator Pathways of Licking County. This program provides free native seed mix for residents of Licking County to help convert part of your land or your lawn into a wildflower mini meadow that support native bees, butterflies, and songbirds. To get free seed, click here to register at the LC PP website. Seed will be available in September for fall sowing, giving you plenty of time to site prep. Site prep demos on May 10 are free for anyone and everyone to attend (whether you are in the program or not).

### 🌲 Licking County Soil & Water Conservation District
(LCSWCD) will be celebrating their "Backyard Conservation Day" alongside the plant sale. LCSWD will be selling:

• Native trees and shrubs (small sapling size)
• Native wildflower seed mix packets
• Erosion control seed packets
  (Available while supplies last)

Recent Update for Backyard Conservation Day: We're not kidding! Goats on the Go will be here demonstrating the power of hungry goats vs. invasive and unwanted brush in our land lab

### 🌧️ Weather Advisory
This event proceeds rain or shine! Based on previous years, we recommend checking the weather and wearing raincoats and waterproof boots, if needed

### 🍽️ Refreshments
Food truck on-site throughout the event.
