Learn more about native seed collecting, cleaning and saving!

Following a presentation discussing seed collection, dormancy and stratification, there will be a hands-on exploration of cleaning and preparing a selection of native seed for storage as well as plenty of opportunity for Q&A.

Attendees will learn how to continually propagate from and for their own gardens as well as how seed saving can strengthen our landscapes and communities. This activity is great for all ages and those who attend will receive seeds to take home.

NOTE: event takes place at The Dawes Arboretum Red Barn Reserve (enter on Davis Drive vs main entrance)
