Free Online Webinar: Intro to permaculture series - Monday March 9
Details
Hosted by The PINA Team
Permaculture Institute of North America
If you’ve been curious about permaculture but aren’t sure where to begin, this upcoming session is a great place to start.
Join us Monday, March 9 at 6pm ET for our next Introduction to Permaculture live session featuring Patrick Rahilly, founder of Pinecrest Permaculture LLC.
Patrick grew up in a 5th generation farming and ranching family, where time spent outdoors and close observation of natural systems shaped his early connection to the land. Inspired by naturalist John Muir and backed by formal studies in wildland soils, ecology, botany, wetlands, water resources, and agroforestry, Patrick brings both practical and scientific insight to his work.
After earning his Permaculture Design Certificate in 2021, Patrick founded Pinecrest Permaculture and now focuses on designing small homesteads and habitat restoration projects that mimic natural ecosystems and build long-term resilience.
During this session, Patrick will share:
• What permaculture is and why it matters today
• How natural ecosystems can guide better land design
• Examples from real homestead and restoration projects
Whether you're exploring permaculture for the first time or looking to deepen your understanding of regenerative design, this will be a thoughtful and practical introduction.
