Celebrate the start of summer at the 5th Annual Native Plant Festival

On May 16, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at Munroe Falls Metro Park, discover how to create a thriving habitat for wildlife by incorporating beautiful, beneficial native plants into your landscape.

Meet Summit Metro Parks staff, local nurseries, landscapers and community partners to learn about the vital role native plants play in our ecosystem.

Shop a wide selection of native plants for sale or join an educational session for expert tips on native gardening.

Visitors will receive a FREE seedling or seed packet, while supplies last

Celebrate Wild Back Yards, shop native plants and more at the Native Plant Festival

Two programs will take place at the event:
• 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. | Moon Gardening for Nocturnal Creatures
• 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. & 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. | Gardening in the Shade: Natives That Will Thrive

Additionally, visitors can enjoy live music by Jen Maurer & Bill Lestock (10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.) and Victor Samalot (12:45 – 3 p.m.). Food will be available for purchase from Cado Cado Taco, Henry’s Creamery (gluten-free and vegan options available) and Rabbit Food (vegan).

The event will conclude with a nature-inspired performance by ArtSparks.
