Fall Gardening Seminar - Cuyahoga County
This all-day seminar will cover everything from tree pathogens and gardening with continuous color to the birds of prey in Ohio skies. We will also cover safe and effective use of herbicides, get an update on TICKS in Ohio, and much more!
There’s something for everyone and plenty of great research-based information on gardening!
Keynote: Enrico Bonello, OSU Professor of Plant Pathology, will discuss why forest pathogens and insect invaders kill our trees.

Cost: $65.00 - includes lunch
Seminar fee is $65 and includes Keynote Speaker address and three seminar sessions, plus Continental Breakfast, and a boxed lunch. Credit card or check payments accepted. Check payments must be received by September 25.
Lunch catered by A Taste of Excellence. Options include:
- Bacon Turkey Focaccia: Shaved roast turkey on focaccia with caramelized onion, roasted red peppers, hickory smoked bacon, Swiss cheese, and honey Dijon spread. Served with potato salad.
- Cobb Salad: Crisp iceberg lettuce with grilled chicken, tomatoes, red onion, sweet corn, crumbled blue cheese, and chopped smokehouse bacon. Finished with avocado ranch dressing.
- Grilled Vegetable Wrap: Marinated and grilled whole portabello mushroom with roasted red peppers, grilled zucchini, yellow squash and mozzarella cheese. Finished with a balsamic basil mayonnaise. Served with fruit salad.
- Chicken Salad on a Croissant: Locally sourced croissant, jewel blend lettuce, house-made chicken, apple and walnut salad. Served with fruit salad.
