The Liberated Mind: A Men’s Discussion Group
Details
About This Event
If you ever felt like you're holding back your true thoughts, struggling to express yourself honestly, or just feeling internally guarded—you aren't alone. Many of us navigate life without feeling fully liberated enough to live up to our true potential.
This group is a laid-back, supportive space for men who want to break out of that mold. We are getting together to have the honest conversations that can be hard to find in everyday life.
What to Expect
We will meet for exactly one hour. The format is a simple discussion focused on how we can actively improve our personal lives. We’ll share experiences, trade perspectives, and talk about the practical steps we can take to become more open, authentic, and grounded men.
- No Pressure: You can share as much or as little as you want. If you just want to show up and listen to other guys who get it, you are completely welcome to do so.
- No Professional Therapy: Please note this is a peer discussion group, not a licensed therapy session. We are just a group of guys looking to grow and support one another.
Who Should Attend? - Men
- Guys who feel "stuck" or have trouble communicating their true feelings.
- Anyone looking to make tangible improvements in their personal lives and connect with like-minded men.
Ground Rules for the Meetup
- Confidentiality: What is shared in the group stays in the group.
- Respect: We are here to listen and learn, not to judge or fix each other.
- Honesty: Bring your authentic self. Leave the ego at the door.
Location
We will meet at the Starbucks inside the Barnes and Noble at Northwoods (281 and 1604)
