Nature Walk at Lions Valley Park 🌿
Details
Consider this your friendly nudge to step outside, take a deep breath, and let nature do its thing.
We’re meeting at Lions Valley Park in Oakville for a relaxed, one-hour walk (emphasis on relaxed, this will not be a sprint). Easy pace, good conversation (or silence, if that’s more your mood) and that lovely sense of peace that comes from swapping four walls for trees and sky.
We’ll meet by the giant support pillar with blue graffiti at the bottom of the hill.
Parking:
- Parking is at the bottom of the hill in the park (open for the season after mid-April).
- If full, you can park at the Presbyterian church at the top of the hill and walk down. I was there last week and the sign allowing parking at the church was still there.
Spending time in nature is a super simple but genuinely powerful way to calm the nervous system, clear your mind, and feel more grounded.
No need to be “on.” Just come as you are, walk, chat if you feel like it, or simply soak it all in.
Please give yourself extra time to arrive in case you have to park at the top of the hill and walk down.
