✨GROUP PURPOSE:
This group is for people who are interested in using books to create change in their lives.
Each month, we explore one book and the ideas, perspectives, or practices it offers for the possibility of evolving the way we think, work, relate, create, and live.
Our gatherings are designed around conversation and participation. Members will have opportunities to meet fellow readers, discuss the book in small or larger groups, exchange perspectives, and build ongoing connections with one another.
✨IDEAL MEMBERS:
The ideal members for this group are people who are seeking some form of change, growth, or evolution in their lives.
That person might be changing careers, starting a business, starting over, seeking more meaningful relationships, wanting to become more confident, exploring their creativity, creating something new, or simply be a book lover who believes there is always something new to learn, explore, and apply to their life.
You don't need to be at a particular stage of life or pursuing a particular kind of change. The common thread is a love of books and a desire to keep learning, evolving, and transforming.
✨MEETINGS & LOCATIONS:
We meet in person at different locations around Metro Detroit to discuss the book, exchange perspectives, and connect with fellow readers.
We read the selected book, meet to discuss it, share interpretations and perspectives, explore how its ideas might apply to our lives, meet readers from across Metro Detroit.
The ultimate goal of this group is to bring together people who love books and build a Life-Changing Reading stack together.
✨MEETING & STRUCTURE:
We explore one book at a time, with one in-person gathering around each book.
Our gatherings are designed to bring readers together for meaningful conversation, exchange of perspectives, and connection around the ideas we're exploring.
Between gatherings, members can continue the conversation through our event chats, sharing thoughts, questions, observations, and insights as they read.

✨Other things:
Membership: Open to adults 18+ who enjoy reading and are interested in participating in thoughtful book discussions. No prior expertise is required.
There are no membership dues. Individual events may take place at venues where attendees are responsible for their own purchases.
Affiliation: This is an independent Meetup community and is not affiliated with the authors or publishers of the books we read.
