Most people avoid the easel because they think they need to render perfect anatomy on day one. You don't. You just need to learn how to see.
Join me at Westbury Arts Centre on Sunday, 22 March for a relaxed, 1-hour taster session designed to demystify the life room.
Rather than getting bogged down in stiff details, we will focus on the immediacy of drawing. You will explore simple techniques to observe the human form, capture the gesture, and build your confidence through quick, expressive sketches. This is about tuning into looking closely and drawing intuitively.
Whether you are an absolute beginner wanting to break down the barrier of the unknown, or an experienced artist looking for a quick refresh, this short introduction is for you.
