Life Drawing Montmartre

Join us for an untutored life drawing session with a female model with a special back-to-school discount. The session starts with brief warm-up poses of two minutes, followed by a series of 5-25 minute poses. Our models are professional fine art models affiliated with the Beaux-Arts de Paris, Académie de la Grande Chaumière and other Parisian life drawing ateliers. Please bring your preferred art materials.

Quick note — this session doesn’t include an official networking show-and-tell, but you’re more than welcome to stick around at the bar and share your drawings with others.

All media are allowed, including pastels, ink, watercolor, or paint. No easels provided. While we recommend bringing your own art supplies, a basic drawing materials set (A4 paper, soft graphite pencil, charcoal stick, and an eraser) is available for purchase at €5. Please notify us in advance if you'd like to purchase the set, and we'll have it ready for you at the session.

Join us for an untutored life drawing session with a female model. Please bring whatever art materials you're comfortable with. Each session begins with warm-up short poses of two minutes, which are then followed by a series of 5-25 minute poses. The subjects are professional nude models, working for the Académie de la Grande Chaumière as well other Parisian art schools and ateliers. Please bring your preferred art materials. After the session, we come together for a relaxed drink and chat. It's a chance to share your drawings from the session and discuss drawing tips & techniques. You can also connect with fellow artists, exchange contacts, and promote your artistic projects.

Join us for a daily life drawing workshop series with a female model. From 10th to 14th November, we meet every day at 7pm CET on Zoom for 20 minutes of drawing with one of our favourite models, Irene, who regularly poses for us in person here in Paris. This week-long series is designed for anyone who wants to dive into a consistent figure drawing practice and grow their skills day by day. The secret to making art is consistency—show up for your art each day and watch what happens (we promise, you won’t regret it).

Please prepare in advance your preferred art materials. The sessions are also meant to inspire you with a touch of Parisian atmosphere, the chance to meet new people, and explore new approaches. You’re welcome to promote your art projects and of course share your drawings from the session with us. This workshop requires cameras on to create the collaborative studio experience that makes Life Drawing Montmartre so effective. No photos may be taken unless pre-agreed with the model beforehand.
