For me, agility has always been about the product. My teams can be as efficient as they want, but as long as they are building the wrong thing, the whole company suffers. Lately, I feel that more and more companies are embarking on a new kind of transformation: a transformation to the Product Model. I decided to organize this event to create a space to share, discover, and discuss the current state of Product Management and Product Coaching.
We will use a two-day unconference format called Open Space, which I personally learned from my dear friend and colleague in the trenches—an agile unicorn, Silvana Wasitova.

## How can I participate?

Oh, that’s easy! The entire content of the event will be created by us—its attendees.

  • You can bring a presentation, an exercise, or a game and simply teach us, or test it on us.
  • You can bring a topic you’re curious about—something you know nothing or very little about—and explore it with others who share the interest.
  • You can go from one session to another, listen, and collaborate.
  • You can spend half a day in the hot tub or by the fireplace, and maybe somebody will join you and it will become the talk of both your lives.

## What is the right topic?

Anything connected to the overarching theme of Product Coaching or Product Management. I expect we’ll touch on the current works of Marty Cagan or Teresa Torres, Continuous Discovery, Outcome over Output, Opportunity Solution Trees—but beyond that, it’s completely up to you. “Take a walk to the castle and back” is also a perfectly valid activity.

## The venue

Speaking of the castle: I managed to book a wonderful villa in Dejvice, with great public transport connections and even better access to the airport. It’s also just a twenty-minute walk from Prague Castle. Take a look:

Yes—this place has a sauna, a hot tub, and even a thermal pool! The only challenge will be the noise limits. Laid-back music and board games are completely fine, but I promised the owner we will keep noise to a minimum at all times (the place has literally thousands of neighbors).
The number of beds is limited, so if you’re from Prague, please sleep at home and leave the beds for participants coming from further away. I’ll ask whether you need a bed in a separate form.

## Cost

This is all great—but how much does it cost? I will ask for a contribution toward the rent. You’ll also have plenty of opportunities to contribute in other ways if you wish, but other than that, my services are completely free. I’m doing this because I need it—and because I want to give something nice to the community.

## Timeline

After years of iteration, there’s no point in rediscovering perfection, so I’m copying the high-level timeline from the ACCCZ crew (thanks, guys!).

A: Sure: https://openspaceworld.org/wp2/what-is/
