Who fancies a chat over a drink or three in a pub? This is how I started getting to know people in Brighton mumble years ago, and made some great friends from it - some of whom I even remember. This is my attempt to return the favour.
I run a low pressure meetup - there's no quiz, no pool, no fees, no food (but feel free to order if you want). Just rock up when you fancy it, have a chat with us, and leave whenever you are bored. Please just do RSVP as it's rather awkward if we run out of seats.
I've picked the Robin Hood (again) as it's a lovely pub - winner of the best pub in Brighton award many times. It's a fantastic and cosy local where we can all have a proper natter without loud music or drunks. It does pizza - never had one in my years of going there, but they look nice when wafted past - but most importantly it does a decent range of beer, soft drinks and booze-free stuff. It's a proper local pub - it's run as a community organisation, so none of that awful soulless corporate baggage, they are honestly glad to see us.
So come along - even if just for an hour or so - and let's have a night of decent conversation and enjoy being in one of Brighton's hidden gems.
